Taylor Lautner Fan-fic: Chapter 1!!

I couldn't believe that I was doing this, but...I was on a date with the one human being I never would have gone on a normal date with, if he wasn’t my BEST FRIENDS boyfriend’s best friend.

"Daysha, I…I…I… haven’t told you this before, but I have loved you since 5th grade..." he said as he was walking not even a half an inch away from me. He was so close I could almost feel his tiny heart beat and his brainless head thinking. And every time I tried to move away he just moved with me. It’s like he was almost glued to my right side. By the time I was almost falling off the sidewalk into the busy street next to us, I made my way to the other side of him.

"Yes, you’ve told me that so many times, I can’t even count, Curtis, I just ignore it." Curtis really was the geek/weirdo of my school, Mayfield High School. He took all the AP classes and even had an A+ in every one. I tried not to acknowledge him, but he was so close to me and his breath smelled so badly of old…cheese that I just couldn’t concentrate! I had been imagining that he was possibly my heartthrob, Taylor Lautner, but it didn’t work… I turned my head to the left, AWAY from Curtis and, Sienna, my best friend looked over at me and smiled. I gave her a dirty look back, and she mouthed the word "sorry" to me a couple of times! I couldn't believe she was ACTUALLY making me do this! I tried as hard as I could NOT to have to go, but she insisted and she WAS my best friend, I couldn’t really do anything about it.

It all started last Wednesday when Sienna and I were discussing….boys! She asked me who I liked and waited for my reply. Nobody knows exactly who I like. I just don’t feel like telling anyone. His name is Cade. He is one of the boys who are best friends with everyone, but no one likes them…in that way. I liked him though. I don’t know why…he was nice and funny and pretty good looking. I guess that’s why…

“You know I’m not going to tell you, right?! I’ve liked him since, like, 4th grade and not one person knows who it is!” I said, she was disappointed, I could tell by the look on her face that she was joking, though. I smiled, satisfied with my answer. She, on the other hand, was not. “Do you really want to know?” I said, but didn’t give her time to answer, “I like…Taylor Lautner…ha ha!”

“Of course you do! Every girl does!” said Sienna. That was true though! He was pretty much the most gorgeous man on the face of the earth! He was nice, funny, a good actor and he pretty much lived in Mayfield, California, the exact place we lived. He works and lives in Hollywood, about 30 miles from Mayfield! He was the heartthrob of the world right now, and I was one of the few who were very close to him.

“So… who do YOU like?” I asked in a wondering voice. Sienna gave me a look that said “I’ve told you so many times!” but I wanted to know again ♥! She doesn’t like the way I ask so many times a day though.

“You know who I like, Daysha. I like Nathan! Duh!” she answered. I don’t know why she likes him, but whatever. I guess he is pretty cool…but he was friends with CURTIS! I couldn’t stand Curtis. That’s how we got to where we are today. She actually asked him out! A GIRL asking a GUY out!! Oh well. I guess I’ll just have to live with him through one date. Oh wow…I don’t know if I can do this. I mean maybe it won’t be that bad…he is funny, and smart and everything, but he is SOOOOOO UGLY! Just kidding that’s mean. I should say that he isn’t the best looking guy in the world. Definitely not as amazingly great looking as Taylor Lautner! But that’s ok, I may never even see Taylor.

I went off into a daydream as we were walking down the sidewalk to Patio Lights, a fancy restaurant that the boys were taking us to. The “not thinking about how amazingly ugly Curtis is” thing actually worked. I felt like I was in another world! My dream went a little like this:

I was walking down an empty, dark road, a road that had one house and a few closed stores. But my slow, expressionless steps brought me to a small bakery. The sign on the door said “Open! Weekdays from 9 to 9!” I put my face to the glass and looked around. There were cupcakes and cookies adjourning the walls. Even outside it smelled of fresh dough and cakes. I looked around more inside and came to a little old lady standing at the register. My eyes wandered to the sign and it said “Miss Tessie’s Bakery” It must be open, I walked to the door and tugged, it easily swung open. Quietly walking inside, my head was filled with the heavenly scents of fresh cookies.

“Daysha…Daysha…DAYSHA!!!” I quickly came to my senses, “We’re here!” I looked around and suddenly realized that I was out of our world the whole 30 minutes it took to walk to the restaurant from Caleb’s house.

“Sorry, Si. I got…distracted.” I replied, still thinking of the bakery and smelling the wonderful smells. We walked into the Patio Lights and got a table. As we were walking to our booth, we passed couples and families and…… I stopped dead in my tracks. I couldn’t believe my eyes. We were sitting at the booth RIGHT behind the booth that I have always wanted to sit at. We were sitting behind the person that I have always wanted to see, the person I have always wanted to TALK to. I stared, I was sure that we were sitting behind a cute little family and…no…wait.. Yes! Taylor Lautner.

Nastia and Shawn

Nastia Liukin, if you don't already know, is the 2008 All-Around gold medalist, along with that, she has won three silvers and one bronze medal. And was also a medalist in the Worlds competition. Along with being a world class athlete, she has appeared on Gossip Girl, and other TV shows.

She was born in Moscow, Russia to Anna and Valeri Liukin on October 30, 1989. She started practicing gymnastics at the age of 4 and has been doing it ever since. Her dad is her coach in the gym and at competitions. Her favorite event is Bars seeing as she is so good at it! She is looking forward to going to college at Southern Methodist University in the spring and toured with her US Olympic team members in September in the Gymnastics "Tour of Champions."

Shawn Johnson is also an Olympic gymnast and medalist. She was awarded with the gold medal on the floor exercise. She too started her gymnastics career at the age of 4. She currently lives in West Des Moines, Iowa and practices at Chows' Gymnastics. At level 10, she was awarded the Iowa gymnast of the year. She has appeared on TV shows such as The Secret Life of the American Teenager and the tour "Frosted Pink With a Twist with her teammates. She also toured the United States with her team mates in the Tour of Gymnastics Superstars.

Shining Bright-A Full Moon's Flight

There was a full moon last night! (5-7-09) If you guys didn't see it, here is a description that I wrote in a poetic format.

Shining Bright-A Full Moon's Flight:

I saw the moon last night. Way up in the blackened sky, shining almost too bright, looking almost too beautiful and almost too breath-taking. The light and the dark clouds moving in on the glimmering object, they come and go, like wind and snow on a winters evening. The shining ball in the sky lit up the room like a lamp in the middle of blackness. The city at night didn't need lights to be lit, it didn't need trees and flowers to be beautiful, just look up and be astonished at the gorgeous orb of the night. Only one time in the year, the bear is exposed to the warmth, only one time can you see Halie's comet, (maybe never!) But once a month, when the sky is clear and the stars are showing, I get to admire the beauty of a full moon. Then as suddenly and as gracefully as it appeared, is was gone, behind the storm. It is hidden for the night, not to show its full face again next month. Say goodbye to the beauty and hello to darkness as it hides among the clouds, not wanting to be found...

Getting to Know You Music Style (memoir 1)

The day came when i suddenly grew up. My love for kids' music and games of "house" blew away. I grew up. The things that were once fun are now too young for me. My passion for music grew and got me to where I am today! The song Fearless, by Taylor Swift, describes me and my life. The lyrics speak to me in some way, I can understand what she is trying to say. The phrase " With you I'd dance, in my best dress, fearless," describes the way that the singer loves the person she is with and that she would do anything for or with them. She loves life and doesn't want to let it go too suddenly. The song makes me feel loved and not afraid of anything. I want to love and be loved, just like the song says. Lyrics of fearlessness bring out my gymnast side, they uncover happy memories of gymnastics: competitions, being with my friends. It also brings back bad memories and sometimes encourages me to get back on the " horse," or in this case, beam and try again. It makes me forget about my problems and live the way that I want to. Many other songs are very impacting om my gymnastics career.

Chelsea Paxton was her name, her favorite song: For Good, from the musical Wicked. The calm and pleasant feeling that the song gives off calls to her and replays memories of her and her best friends singing all of the time. Words intertwined in the song helps her forget about people she misses and when she is quiet or shy, it shows her that she can be bold and brave!

All music, even if it is immodest , has a message or meaning tied into it. whether is is " Drugs are bad," or " be free," all music speaks. Songs about love, usually have words about happiness and love. Songs that are about a break-up or and angry song is normally packed with angry words and sad phrases. The songs that stick out to me are the happy ones, with lyrics about love, freedom, or gladness. The depth of the song "Fearless" is as deep as the ocean. The performer, Taylor Swift, is basically saying that she wants to be brave and not afraid of anything. She wants to be able to kiss the person she loves and not feel ashamed or judged for it.

We are never too old to set a new goal or dream a new dream...your imagination never grows old.
Follow your dreams, for as you dream you shall become...nothing can hold you back.
Though dreams must hold some back, they open the door for the rest.
